Coffee Talk:
Micah Abel is a Honeywell project engineer who converted his car from gas to electric on his own. Come hear about his project and transforming his car!

Main Presentation:

Donald Godfrey will talk about Honeywell Aerospace as one of the industry's first big players to adopt additive manufacturing techniques and has so far invested in 3D printing labs in China, India, Europe, and the US.

In the short term, additive manudacturing has proved successful at supporting the need for rapid prototyping aduring the design process. This allows engineers to check the physical behavior of a design before production takes place, using specialized software to create a 3D model of the product and then print it.

He is responsible for the integration of 3D printing/additive manufacturing into the Honeywell business culture and has technology responsibility in Czech Republic, China, India, and Arizona. Donald holds several patents in the area of additive manufacturing and was awarded six more patents in CY2015.
